In Genshin Impact, Fathomless Flames, the Abyss Lector, is a boss enemy. Abyss Lectors and Abyss Heralds, two of the game’s most terrifying opponents, will no doubt be recognizable to long-time Genshin Impact players. These high-ranking Abyss Order members had previously only appeared as Quest Bosses or adversaries in the Spiral Abyss, but with the addition of the Enkanomiya area, these terrifying foes may now be discovered in a variety of open-world locales there.
The Abyss Lector: Fathomless Flames’ major mechanic that players should remember is his Brand of the Abyssal Flame. The Brand is a dangerous status effect that is triggered by certain attacks. If a player successfully strikes with a “Branded” attack, the effect will last for a few seconds before disappearing. The brand will deal True Damage to the whole party, including off-field characters, when it expires.
Players can use their skills and dashes to avoid being impacted by Brand, but they can’t undo it once it’s been applied. Furthermore, even if an Elemental Burst is used to prevent HP loss, the rest of the party will still take damage. Abyss Lector Location
The Abyss Lector: Fathomless Flames will occur as a Boss encounter at the end of the Byakuyakoku World Quest From Dusk to Dawn. If you’ve been following the entire storyline while exploring Enkanomiya, you’ll almost certainly come across this encounter. You can utilize this checkpoint to prepare your team for the battle after completing the fight with three special Bathysmal Vishaps under Dainichi Mikoshi.

The presence of Cryo characters will shatter the Abyss Lector’s shield and supply the party with Cryo Resonance, which will raise the CRIT Rate. Because two Abyss Lectors will spawn at the same moment, having Xiao and Ganyu on hand will allow you to inflict enormous DMG to both of them at the same time. Diona can help the party by providing shields and healing. Zhongli can increase the strength of your shields and apply a debuff on the Abyss Lectors.

How to beat Abyss Lector
The Abyss Lector: Fathomless Flames combat pattern is similar to that of the Electro Abyss Lector and the Hydro Abyss Herald, although there are some key differences. He does not deplete your characters’ Energy or extend their cooldowns like the other two Abyssal opponents but instead inflicts True DMG on your party.
Certain hits will, in fact, brand your whole party with a flaming effect; after a brief period, the Brand will explode and do damage to your entire party. This effect is very similar to the Corrosion Status delivered by Rifthound enemies, although it does damage in a burst rather than over time.
However, unlike Corrosion, Brand damage will not reduce your off-field characters’ health below 15%, and the first strikes that inflict the blazing Brand may be avoided even though the Brand damage itself is unavoidable once impacted.
The Boss will have a Pyro Shield now
When you reduce the Pyro Abyss Lector’s HP to around one-third of his maximum, he will release a blast of flames from his body and get a Pyro Shield. The Shield is most vulnerable to Hydro DMG, although it may also be severely destroyed by destroying the Lector’s Darkfire Furnace.
This is a totemic artifact that was left on the ground during one of the Lector’s meteor attacks. The Furnace will trigger more eruptions throughout the battlefield, but destroying it would stop this attack and reduce the Abyss Lector’s Shield.
When the boss’s Shield is completely destroyed, he will be beaten. His other attacks are nothing noteworthy aside from the mechanics of his Brand, Shield, and Furnace. They mostly consist of slow-moving fireballs and meteors/eruptions with hints as to when they will strike. If you maintain one eye on the ground and one on the Lector, you should be able to avoid all of his assaults.
