The mega event in Pokemon Go has begun. The World of Wonders Research event is live. After the Sinnoh Tour event, the World of Wonders features tons of challenges for trainers. Players can encounter wild and shiny Pokemon, collect Stardust and earn unlimited EXP. For every new milestone, you will unlock tons of XP and catch a wild Pokemon.

The new Pokemon Go Season features a plethora of tasks for players. Poipole, the ultra beast will spawn in the wild and a couple of new Pokemon will be added to the wild as well. Be it the Field Research Tasks or Gym Raids, trainers will get their chance to maximize rewards and add new Pokemon to their Pokedex. Research Tasks

The Special Research Tasks for World of Wonders season is available. The first 2 parts are out. Here are the tasks and rewards,

World of Wonders – Task 1

  • Catch 20 Pokemon –  x 10 Poke Ball
  • Spin 10 PokeStops – x 7 Pinap Berry
  • Transfer 10 Pokemon – x 7 Razz Berry

 Other Rewards – Poipole, 803XP

World of Wonders – Task 2

  • Complete 7 Field Research tasks – Skorupi
  • Explore 10km – Qwilfish
  • Make 20 Nice Throws – x 15 Great Ball

Other Rewards – x 25 Poipole Candy, 803XP

The first two parts for the World of Wonders research task are available and more will be added. The new Pokemon Go Season World of Wonders is live and it will be available till June 1, 2024.  Poipole, the Ultra Beast will make its debut and players can encounter it in the wild. Apart from Poipole, other Pokemon from the Paldea region will be added through the Pokemon Horizon event. Here’s all about the Pokemon Go World of Wonders new season 2024,

Shadow Pokemon Raids 

Trainers can tussle against shadow Pokemon in the wild. The one-star and three-star Shadow raids will be available every day and the five-star shadow raids will be available on Saturday and Sunday. Players can encounter Shadow Raikou, Shadow Entei, and Shadow Suicune. The shiny forms of these Shadow Pokemon will spawn as well.

Community Day

The Community Day events will return as a part of the Pokemon Go World of Wonders event. In March 2024, trainers can encounter Litten and Shiny Litten in the wild. Players will get XP, Candy, Lure Modules, Incense and Daily Adventure Incense throughout the community day events. On March 16, 2024, the first community day will feature the Litten Pokemon. The other three community day events will be available in April and May. With the best build and moves, you can win these raids.

Spin Pokestops

Trainers can spin at random Pokèstops and unlock Themed Stickers, Berries and more rewards. Pokèstops will be available in all major regions in the wild.

World of Wonder Research Tasks

Pokemon Go World of Wonder season will feature Field Research Tasks, Gym Raids and PvP battles. By completing the field research tasks, you can catch Dubwool, Sandygast, Goomy, Hisuian Sneasel, Furfrou and Jangmo-o.

Different Pokemon in Different Areas

The new World of Wonders season will feature Pokemon in Cities, Forests, Beaches and Mountains. Here are the list of Pokemon you can catch in the wild in this season

  • Forests – Absol, Jumpluff, Elgyem, Phantump, Dewpider, Pawmi, Fomantis
  • City – Delcatty, Gulpin, Gardevoir, Togetic, Purrloin, Stunky, Scraggy
  • Mountains – Phanpy, Magcargo, Medicham, Nosepass, Duskull, Carbink, Noibat
  • Beaches & Water – Quagsire, Shuckle, Surskit, Clamperl, Tadbulb, Clauncher, Inkay
  • Northern Hemisphere – Hisuian Growlithe, Mawile, Bagon, Snivy
  • Southern Hemisphere – Hisuian Voltorb, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile

Pokemon Eggs

Players can hatch eggs and unlock new Pokemon. 2 km eggs, 5 km eggs, 7 km eggs and 10km eggs will be available,

  • 2km Eggs – Gothita, Togepi, Larvesta, Solosis, Fletching
  • 5km Eggs – Lickitung, Sableye, Larvesta, Roggenrola, Skrelp
  • 7km Eggs – Galarian Stunfisk, Alolan Vulpix, Galarian Slowpoke, Galarian Farfetch’d, Paldean Wooper
  • 10km Eggs – Larvesta, Goomy, Charadet, Turtonator, Frigibax

Seasonal Bonuses

World of Wonders will feature many seasonal bonuses for trainers.

  • Increased damage dealt by Pokemon participating in raids with Friends
  • One additional free Raid Pass per day by spinning Gym Photo Discs
  • Increased XP for defeating one-star and three-star Raids, including one-star and three-star Shadow Raids

Routes Rewards

Players can collect tons of XP rewards, Stardust and new Route Rewards by Hatching Eggs,

  • 5km Eggs – Adventure Sync Rewards – Gligar, Tirtouga, Archen, Phantump, Mantyke
  • 7km Eggs – Routes Rewards – Hisuian Growlithe, Paldean Wooper, Vullaby, Pawniard, Hisuian Sneasel
  • 10km Eggs – Adventure Sync Rewards – Dratini, Turtonator, Deino, Goomy, Jangmo-o
