The game has introduced a slew of new methods for players to strategize before and during a game. You may create a pre-game game plan that offers you benefits in whichever area you need in both Franchise mode and exhibition matches.

The actual benefit here, though, is that you can change your game plan during halftime to counter what your opponent is doing. This also applies to Ultimate Team, where you may change your X-Factors at halftime to make a difference. It should be noted, however, that some cosmetic things may only be purchased with actual money.
