How to Beat Swaying Ghost House: First to Fourth Screens
Within seconds of entering Swaying Ghost House in World 4, you’ll find the first Star Coin. Your only goal is to avoid the Boo and hit the P-Switch. Jump back and drop to the left side of the rectangle. If you cross the rectangle straight through, then drop down and grab the first Star Coin. The final step is to exit the room through the furthest door on the left, which has now been opened since the P-Switch turned all of the blocks into coins.
On the second screen, you will have to jump across the gap with the purple stripe pole. After the successful jump, you will see a door at the top right, go through it. You will have to hit another P-Switch on the third screen. Once again, you will have to avoid the Boo. Once you do this, make your way from the top right of the screen and hit the switch. When you hit the switch, the door will be open near the entry door which you came through.
Now, on the fourth screen, you will have to be very quick. You will have to start running once you press the P-Switch. Go towards the right and also avoid the two sets of Boos that will be in your way. You can climb up and get the second Star Coin at the very end of the area by using the blocks as a makeshift staircase and then go through the door.
How to Beat Swaying Ghost House: Fifth to Eight Screens
Do not get confused with the fifth screen, as it will be the third screen that you played earlier. However, here you will have to do something different. To find the secret door, use the moving platform to walk through the wall in the bottom right instead of going bottom left.
On the sixth screen, you will again need the help of the P-Switch. Here, there will be lots of doors and you will have to ignore them all. You will find a door when you walk through the wall on the bottom right of the screen. This is the door that you have to go through.
The seventh screen also asks you to use the P-Switch. However, wait for a moment before you do that and get two or three consecutive coins. After you grab those, press the P-Switch and jump on the platform that is made of blocks. Use the blue coins to guide you and keep jumping by staying in the center. Eventually, you will find a green door and you will have to ignore it. Just above that green door, you will see a wall that you can jump through. Jump through it and the door you see is the one you need to go through.
Now comes the last screen. After pressing the P-Switch, go high and you will see a green door. Now, this is the right door but the first wall jump above it with the help of the blocks. There you can get the third “star coin” and once you get it, use the green door and go through it.
Secret Exit Location
The Frosted Glacier Swaying Ghost House Secret Exit location is, helpfully enough, (depending on how you view it) situated on the same path as the Star Coins. Follow the walkthrough above and then, when you exit the eighth screen through the green door, jump over the question mark blocks and make your way towards the Bowser end-of-level flagpole and jump on it. That’s it.
