Top 5 Guild Wars 2 Achievements

God Of The Arena

This achievement in Guild Wars 2 is a challenging task that requires players to be very active and skilled in the constructed PvP game mode over an entire season. To boost their skill rating, players must possess advanced skills and win a high number of matches.

At the end of every season of ranked PvP, the player who is first on the skill-rating leaderboard receives this title. You can mostly obtain skill points by winning and inactivity results in penalties. This makes the competition for this title very competitive and exclusive. Only 36 seasons have been applicable for this achievement. If a female character earns the title, it changes to “Goddess of the Arena”.

Legendary Armorer

The achievement of obtaining a complete collection of 18 unique legendary armor pieces in Guild Wars 2 is not a one-time accomplishment. It requires a significant amount of effort and investment. To complete it, players must bind a full set of each armor weight, and they cannot purchase these sets from other players.

Each set costs over 1,500 gold to craft. Additionally, the achievement excludes the WvW and PvP legendary sets. Completing this collection requires playing raids as some of the essential crafting components are Legendary Insights, which you need 900 of (300 per armor set). Every raid boss and strike challenge mode drops one LI, but only once per week. This means players can acquire only 31 Insights per week.

This requires a minimum of 29 weeks of intense raiding. Considering the difficulty of some encounters, most players may not reach the weekly LI limit anyway. Upon completion of the entire collection, players also gain the title “Envoy’s Herald.”

Voidwalker

The “Voidwalker” achievement in Guild Wars 2 is infamous among players. To earn it, players must complete the Harvest Temple Strike Mission in challenge mode without allowing the enemy to gain more than three stacks of the Void Empowerment buff. This is already a challenging task, as keeping these stacks low is essential to finish the encounter.

Currently, the title that comes with this achievement – The Voidwalker – is the most prestigious title and kill proof a player of PvE instanced content can have. Players consider it the most difficult encounter in the game and very few players have been able to defeat it. This is one of the most difficult Guild Wars 2 achievements.

God Of WvW

This achievement in Guild Wars 2 requires players to play a significant amount of World Vs World. To earn the title of the same name, players must reach a rank of 10,000 or higher in the game mode. This is a challenging task that requires a lot of time and effort.

Individual skill level in WvW is not necessarily important for this achievement. However, players need to play a lot of hours as experience points are what is required. The amount of time it takes to complete this achievement depends on the player’s playtime, but it is estimated that it would take around 5,000 hours for a hardcore player and around 10,000 hours for a casual WvW player to complete this achievement. In total, around 50 million experience points are required to achieve this title.

Abyssal Fractal Master

The “Abyssal Weapon Collector” achievement in Guild Wars 2 requires players to collect all nineteen Abyssal Fractal weapon skins, including those for aquatic weapons. These skins are similar to some previous fractal skins but are dark purple in color. The skins cannot be traded with other players, and the only repeatable way to acquire them is from a vendor.

The biggest obstacle in obtaining this achievement is that one of the currencies required is Unstable Fractal Essence, which is both a currency and a valuable kill proof. There are 40 UFE available per fractal challenge mode boss kill, so this achievement requires 9,120 UFE to complete. Most players would rather save the kill proof instead. There is no doubt that this is one of the most difficult Guild Wars 2 achievements to unlock.
