The Scorching Steps event will start on June 21, 2024 and it will be available till June 25, 2024. This event focuses on hatched eggs and trainers can maximize shiny Pokemon as well. Here’s everything included in the new Shared Skies season event,
Featured Pokemon
Volcarona and Larvesta are the main Pokemon for this limited-time event. Players can unlock these pocket monsters from eggs. Both Volcarona and Larvesta make their debuts and they will have a shiny form during the event days.
Eggs
Hatched Eggs will unlock a Pokemon. The Scorching Steps event features these Pokemon and you can hatch them from eggs,
- 2KM Eggs – Growlithe, Slugma, Houndour, Magby, Larvesta
- 5km Eggs – Growlithe (Hisuian), Litwick, Larvesta, Darumaka, Litleo
- 10km Eggs – Turtonator, Larvesta, Charcadet
Field Research Tasks
Field Research Tasks are event-themed. Once you complete these tasks, you can catch these Pokemon including their shiny forms,
- Slugma
- Turtonator
- Litleo
Timed Research
Timed Research tasks in Scorching Steps event will feature objectives like collecting candies, earning gifts, walking with buddy Pokemon, catching wild spawns and making curve throws. Once you complete these, you can accumulate Stardust and XP. Trainers can encounter special Pokemon in the wild as well.
Bonuses
Bonuses will be available every day during Scorching Steps. Here are all bonuses for the event,
- x2 Candy for Hatching Eggs
- 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in Incubators
- Trainers will get an increased chance to hatch and catch Shiny Slugma and Shiny Litleo
- Shiny Larvesta will be available throughout the event
