Glintstone Dragon Adula Location

You will find the boss in the sub-zone beside Caria Manor at the Three Sisters where there is Ranni’s Rise and Renna’s Rise. This is the first time you will face the boss in the area and after depleting its health, it will be found on the plateau in the Village of the Albinaurics outside the Cathedral of Manus Celes.

How to beat Glintstone Dragon Adula

First, you will need to be aware of the surroundings. The terrain is very difficult, and it might cause you many problems during the fight. This is one of the fights in Elden Ring where you just don’t need to fight with the boss but will have to face the terrain as well. There are lots of rocks, crystals, and other barriers that will restrict your movement. This can result in taking massive hits from Glintstone Dragon Adula.

Once you know how to deal with the terrain, you can then focus on the boss and its attacks. All you need to do is rush towards the boss and attack it. Now, here you can even take advantage of the terrain. You can use the rocks to block the attacks. After you dodge the attacks, rush forward and then target the legs. You will need to keep doing this until the boss is down. However, the most vital part of the fight is understanding the moveset of the boss.

Glintstone Dragon Adula Attack Patterns

Stomp attack: The most common move you will face from Adula is the stomp attack. If you are under the dragon trying to hit its legs, it will use a stomp attack that will deal great damage to you. Therefore, whenever you try to attack its legs, be aware of this attack.

Tail attack: This type of attack is used by almost every boss who has a tail. It is not very difficult to dodge, so it won’t be a big problem for you.

Blue fire attack: Adula will breathe blue fire at you that will last for a quite long time. This attack has range and duration so you need to be careful when the boss uses this attack. However, the attack is a bit slow, so you will have enough time to dodge it and rush forward to attack the boss.

Crystal shard: Adula will fire a crystal shard from its mouth, which will burst into a rain of smaller shards towards you after a few seconds. Avoiding this attack is very difficult, and this attack is what you will have to worry about. You cannot attack at this time, so the best option for you is to hide behind rocks or pillars or anything that will help you to avoid the crystal shard attack.

Blade attack: If you were thinking that the crystal shard attack was the best and the most difficult attack, then stop right there. The blade attack is the most dangerous as Adula will take a huge ice blade in its mouth and slice it down at you. Taking damage from this attack can even cause an instant kill.

Additional Tips

If you follow the above method, then you can easily beat the boss. However, it is recommended not to stay at a long range from the boss as it will be bad for you. You can use your mount or a melee strategy to defeat Adula. These strategies are best and if you combine it with our tips, then this fight will end very quickly.
